The Projections

This is the page where you can buy my projections.

If you don’t want to read what I wrote just scroll down a little until you see a “Buy Now” button.

Last season, these projections cost $5.50 with a certain percentage going towards charity. We’re going to do things a little differently this year.

This year, the first $2,500 USD earned will go directly towards initiatives that will help migrant families that have been unjustly separated at the USA-Mexico border as well as direct relief to any areas that may be devastated by hurricane season.

And instead of a one-size-fits-all projection package for everybody, I’ve made three separate versions in the hopes that all you fantasy junkies get exactly what you need out of your fancy draft spreadsheet.

Every draft kit is the same at its core, here’s what you’ll get.

  • Basically a very fancy spreadsheet (no actual analysis, just projections) in two file formats: Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers
  • Projections for 595 skaters and 60 goalies
  • Projections based on the last three seasons of a player’s career, weighted by a multi-variate regression for each stat, and age adjusted
  • Fully customizable to your league’s scoring settings
  • Editable so if there’s a projection you don’t agree with, you can change it and the data will auto-update
  • Customizable Value Over Replacement Player calculations to create better rankings tailored to your league
  • Average Draft Position for Yahoo, and Fantrax leagues to show which players are potentially under- and overrated at the draft (A future update will include ESPN when their ADP rankings become available)
  • Separate sheets for points-based and category-based leagues
  • A sheet to input your drafted team that auto-fills projections for each player.

What’s different about each kit is the scoring categories. Some of you might only need points, other might need a lot more and I’m here to cater to your needs with three different options.

Tier I – The “Just Points, Baby” Kit

For the people that just want points. $3 USD

  • Skater stats: games played, time-on-ice, goals, assists

And here’s a link to the top 10 at each position by points (skaters) and wins (goalies) so you can see some of the projections at work.

After purchasing, you will be sent an email with a link to download the spreadsheets. Make sure to check your spam/junk folders as there is a chance it may have ended up there.

Don’t hesitate to contact me through email (d.luszczyszyn @ gmail.com) or Twitter (@domluszczyszyn) if you do not receive an email within 24 hours. This is my first time using automation and there is a chance I screwed it up somewhere along the line. If you’d like a copy of last year’s projections before buying to see how the spreadsheets work, feel free to email as well.

Thank you for supporting me and my hockey math.
